Lest I be thought some cheapskate, ungrateful cad I suppose I should also express my overwhelming gratitude for the little extra in my pay envelope last week.
Unfortunately, Harry and Sid talked me into buying rounds after work at the uhh . . .'bar' ... and it is all gone now. Gawd, I sure hope the little lady does not find out..!!

That was me!
Thanks! It's already spent. One of my students wears shorts on 30 degree days so I got her snow pants. I bought my students a book each for Christmas.
I then spent the other half on the angel tree at church. One little girl is going to be getting four Walmart bags overflowing with art and craft supplies for Christmas (which was her first choice)

I am guessing there was some minimal threshold of Epi-activity that needed to be exceeded before any bonus was 'disbursed'.
Like all things monetary on Epinions, only the man behind the curtain and his servant monks who tirelessly (if somewhat irregularly) transcribe 'visits' and 'IS earnings' might know that assumed number...

Last year the bonus went to those writing five or more reviews (not ER) during the year. It looks to be about the same this year.

But unlike one man I recall in a 1939 film using smoke and mirrors to show grandeur and power, the figure/s behind the curtain here does/do indeed have power to make things happen.

Ha. True dat. Though my point was the knowledge they possess ( and guard ) rather than the power they wield.
A simple demonstration of that power (perhaps by fixing the apparent ongoing redemption problem..??) might forever endear them to message board denizens. Not that they are not already.
