Uhmmm . . .have you read the last couple of meet-n-greet write-ups**..?? While the quality is high the 'coverage' is certainly disappointing.
Dont hold yur breath expecting any sustenance from future write-ups ... if the recent past is any measure.

I'm surprised there aren't more writeups. I got, like, $23 in IS on my Miami writeup just last month.
(I wish)

You did?....oh wait a minute, I just saw that (I wish).......I was about to go write another one, LOL, the one I wrote about the restaurant in Trump International earned a few cents but I'm afraid it's lost in the shuffle since it's not on the list of Miami Meet and Greets...I've been tempted to write a short one with a link to the other but felt that would be too pushy...

Smilie or not ... that is what we love about you Barb.
Just imagine if you had been more 'pushy' all these years. You would either be revered here on the site . . .or the subject of some TV crime show.

Heh:) Personally I couldn't really make it to most places except a Seattle redux or maybe (if I'm insane) the San Fran one (might be able to work it into other things).

You very well could be. I did not 'read back' to see who it was that had suggested it already...

RE: 2009 Meet & Greet Locations
I don't understand why Washington, DC, is not on the list. There was a great turnout here for the M&G in 2005 and there was a M&G in NYC in 2006 -- it's DC's turn again.
In DC's favor, it is a big metropolitan area that's within easy driving distance of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Richmond and whatever cities there are in Delaware (Wilmington?). It's not out of the question for people to drive from New York City and Raleigh/Durham, NC. There are three major airports in the DC area, served by all major airlines -- and most of the cheap ones. Once people are in DC, there are TONS of things to do that are absolutely free, including the just-reopened Smithsonian Museum of American History and the brand new Capitol Welcome Center. All the monuments and almost all the museums in DC are free, as are the Botanical Gardens and the National Zoo.
Once Dubya is gone, DC will be cool again. So let's put DC on the list, okay??

Quote: jurgrace Alaska is expanding it's range. I know they go to Miami, Orlando, Chicago and D.C., but I'm not sure beyond that (also off the top of my head). I was just trying to not-so-subtly throw in another bid for Seattle.
We've got so many visitors from South America next year that our travel options are limited, save for a visit to great-grandma in Cow-land, but it looks like Detroit is a better location than Minneapolis this year. I will just have to live vicariously through the WC write-ups of the Meet n Greets next year :-)

They go to Portland, too. I say you Seattle folks need to go slumming to the south for a change. If it's in Portland, I'll have an excuse to go see family.

Now hold yer horses young man! I did go to a "Dinner With Pehr" in DC in March '07. I understand I wasn't the only one there. How many were we, Bob?
Five hour car trip. I took the train that time. Not nearly as cool as a M&G though. That said...
