What is everyones Favorite Guitar company?
I'm new to playing guitar, but have loved them since I was a teenager. I finally have both a Gibson (SG Standard) and a Fender (Telecaster 60th Anniversary).
What brand(s) is (are) your favorite ?

I'm mostly an acoustic guy and think you can't go wrong with either a Taylor or a Martin, as long as you don't buy the cheapest model from either. The best value I ever saw in a premium acoustic was a Takamine, which was half the price of the equivalent Taylor and sounded at least as good.
I'm not too fussy about electrics but, if pushed, prefer the Fender Telecaster Standard. It's just simple, fast-playing and sounds good.

or the SG double neck (Jimmy Page)

my favs
My favorite is martin, But I love Dean guitars! I own a music store, so I have a chance to check out all brands. Here's a list of the one's I admire too:
Charvell
ESP
Indiana
Flagstrom
Halo
Gibson
J.R.Reynolds
These come to mind. Mind you, these are my likings. I know several others, but they are marked as O.K or bad. Indiana has came out with guitars that are the talk of the town called DEVLIN. |
