Favorite Music Teacher

If you could get lessons from a famous musician, who would it be?

Ever since I heard my first Creedence Clearwater Revival song in the 1960s, I wanted to play guitar like John Fogarty. He'd be my choice for guitar teacher.

Can I get some voice lessons with Sting? I don't know what he could teach me, but I'd certainly be extremely attentive.

Hmmm... I suppose that voice lessons from Shania Twain has a certain appeal.

Since I just purchased an instructional DVD from John Sebastian, I would probably pick him. The man is probably around 63, yet he can still pick better than some guys half his age.

Hmmmm, I think Joe Satriani has some teaching experience. Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai. Satch also plays fairly well, I think I'd enjoy some lessons from him.
