be careful

i bought a salvetti band apprased at over 3300.00 for 665. it was supposed to be solid white 18k gold. well when i went to have it sized, i found it was not white, but yellow coated in rhodium, which is somewhat commone as many people like white gold and this could have been a return or something, although the certification said it was new. I sent an email with attached jewelers notes on my receipts as well as a copy of the certification to bidz customer service with the following information: I paid to have the ring sized from 6.5 to 5.5, the ring was supposed to be solid 18kt white gold size 6. it was not. no stamp and it was yellow (the jeweler buffed off some of the rhodium plating to show me it was yellow on the inside of the ring. I paid a higher rate for the sizing, because the ring was larger, i had to pay for loose diamonds that were there when I received the ring to be tightened, and then ofcourse because of the larger amount of sizing required made more diamonds loose requireing tightening, and i had to pay for rhodium plating. so, since i didn't receive what i ordered what are you able to do? i receive an email to the above asking me to contact you through live help. The ring was the salvetti 12mm band bought on 10/18 number #30099871.
the customer service told me to return it to them and they would examine if i got what i was supposed to and decide whether i will get a refund or not. at this point i think i am going to contact my credit card company and see what they can do, i don't trust bidz to refund my money or return the ring. i would stay away from them.

don't start another Bidz thread!!!

Hii,
Just wanted to let you know there is only one offical BIDZ thread here on Epinions, so far viewed by over 50,000 readers. If you want others to read this reply, you may want to post it there. Patty Therre will be locking this forum. Note to other posters, PLEASE keep only one BIDZ thread going. Your post will be locked and others will not be able to reply. Other readers continually check on that thread. It would benefit other readers that way. Looking forward to reading about this post and how BIDZ handled this situation on the official BIDZ thread.
