Snuba

I'm heading to Hawaii later this year and while I was planning on snorkling, I am not a scuba diver. However, I had read that they offer folks the chance to go "snuba diving" where you basically wear a regulator but you are connected to the surface by a tube and the person on the boat is watching the tanks and airflow up there.

Has anyone ever tried this? Is it worth the cost? Is it better than just snorkling?

Jeff

RE: Snuba

I just stuck to snorkeling while I was there, never had the chance (or the time) to try out the snuba.
