As a student I find that the mechanical pencil is far suprior to the wooden pencil in many different ways. I used to be a wood fan until one day as i was in class my lead broke and to my dismay the classroom did not have a pencil sharpener.
The Paper Mate Clickster 0.5 mm assorted pack of 6 was the answer to my problems, they are affordable, dependable, comfortable easy to use, and come in a wide variety of colors
Affordability These pencil are very affordable for the student, for just dollars you can get yourself six quality pencils. They are cheap enought that you can buy several pack for either extras or for gifts.
Dependability These Pencils are dependable, they always deliver when i need them to. i have never had any problem with jamming or loading new lead, they will write on any surface that is made for a pencil to write on. The clicking mechanism has never broken on me, unlike other cheaper pencils.
Comfortability These pencils fit right into your hand, they are comfortable for either right or left handed writers. they do not give you blisters or any other sores associated with wood pencils. They are the perfect lenght, the fit easily into your pocket or backpack depending on the situation.
Looks These pencils come in a wide variety of colors ranging from blue to black and everything in between perfect for every mood, outfit, and backpack.
Problems the only problem that i have with these pencils is the 0.5 mm lead. It is good if you are trying to draw a strait, fine or delicate line, but if not then the lead runs out alot faster then thicker lead. Other then the thickness of the lead these pencils stand up to the competition in everyway shape and form
