Drexel's social life environment is pretty pathetic. The only places where you can find food close to campus are the Drexel Pizza shop, The local Seven-Eleven and the Subway and the dorm's convenience store--The only way students party and lead an active social life is by going to Penn's Campus which has a lot of bars and eating joints. Even a decent grocery store is not easy to find and the Drexel shuttle service is not too good either.
The shuttle runs from 4:30-10:00p.m and after 10:00p.m you could call the escort service.(Philadelphia by the way is not a very safe place to venture out at night by foot if you are alone!). But all these routes are restricted to a certain distance off campus. Drexel has to improve student life --that aspect has been forgotten by the administration. If you are expecting a great student life then Drexel is not the place to go to! What I hate most is the administration's lack of interest in improving student life. Of course most students thrive by hanging out in the better University of Pennsylvania's campus .
