The Stockmarket is a great gamble. It is very easy to make money and just as easy to loose everything you have. If you are like me, you like money and know quite abit about the market. Therefore you do not like the commissions. With Ameritrade, you do not need to worry about the commission because it is only $8 a trade.
Personally I love Ameritrade becasue it is cheaper than the others and more reliable. One thing you do know is that they have to be doing something correct because this is their 25th year in service. It is also quicker than the other. You also have the option to recieve free realtime quotes and after hour trading. If you sign up to Ameritrade by April 30, 2000 you will also recieve 25 free trades as a reward for them being in business for 25 yrs. There are four ways to trade with Ameritrade, online, by touch-tone phone, through a broker, and with the Sprint PCS Wireless WebSM. This gives you the freedom to trade on your own time terms. When you trade online you do not have to worry about because they have a top-of-the-line firewall it has a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with encryption keys of up to 128 bits with a THREE STRIKES YOUR OUT SYSTEM. Customers' account numbers and PINs are the keys to entering their accounts online. Even if unauthorized people gained access to an account number, they would be unable to access the account without the correct PIN and if they enter the wrong PIN three consecutive times, the account will be blocked. It can only be re-enabled if an authorized individual(s) contact Ameritrade and answers verification questions.
The only downfall the Ameritrade is that when you first sign up, it may take a little bit of time to get them to process your account. It takes from a week to three.
