Pros: Price, size, good video quality, best shot mode Cons: Steep learning curve, bad sound quality, poor LCD screen
An introduction to where I'm coming from and small cameras in general I'm a more serious amateur photographer. I shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel XT (which I've never reviewed on here but keep meaning to). I totally love that camera. I have never ...
Pros: video mode, good image, autofocus features work well Cons: lcd, minor faults
WHAT YOU GET I bought this cam from Circuit City and it comes with basic internal 8mb memory, and lithium ion battery, charger, hand strap, usb cable and a/v cable. The manual is very basic, since you are given a cd with manual viewable on ...
Pros: Great features and easy to use. Cons: Battery life is not extremely long.
The Casio Exilim EX-Z77 Digital Camera is one of the easiest cameras that I have worked with and is the perfect camera for capturing lifes precious moments. The features are above average and the manual is extremely easy to follow and understand. ...
This camera, which I have in pink is one of the easiest cameras to use. It has a lot of features to it, sunset, black and white, sport events. The LCD is quite big and easy to see. The video menu also even allows you to cut off parts you don't ...
Pros: Both 4:3 and 16:9 photo and video size
Good photo/video quality, MPEG-4 H.264 video Cons: No cradle for this model. Need to take out batter to charge.
I am an Exilim fan. My 5M version works very well. My criteria are: at least 5M, video using mpeg (avi is way too big and I avoid it), photo and video size ratio should be 4:3 and 16:9 (new digital TV are all using 16:9), use SD card, with good review. ...
Pros: fast shutter, sleek, slim, ff rew video Cons: none, I love it
I have finally upgraded from my kodak 5mp camera that I had for nearly 3 years. I must say ,this new casio digital cam takes the cake. I've been looking for a camera that had more options in lighting, color in comparison to my old kodak camera. I also ...
The LCD Screen have virtually no lag, sharp and detailed pictures. Love the calender playback mode which allows you to see which photos you took on certain days. Lightning fast turn on and shot-to-shot times. Battery life is exceptional (this was one of ...
Pros: Slim, lightweight, great pixels, rechargeable battery Cons: No viewfinder
We've been using the first digital camera we ever bought for several years now. It's amazing how technology improves things--we thought it was the coolest camera ever when we first bought it, and it looks and feels like a dinosaur compared to our new ...
Pros: Small, good size screen, durable, good pics! Cons: The 'Best Shot' function, good case mandatory, macro not so great
Cost - $200 Canadian, including all taxes. (Shelf price was $169) I have had this camera for about 2 weeks now, and have been running it around and shooting everything that looks like it should have it's picture taken. This has included several ...
Exilim EX-Z77 - An decent little play/travel camera! by lunabug ,Nov 25 '08
Pros: Price, size, good video quality, best shot mode Cons: Steep learning curve, bad sound quality, poor LCD screen
I'm a more serious amateur photographer. I shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel XT (which I've never reviewed on here but keep meaning to). I totally love that camera. I have never been a fan of point and shoot cameras, like this Casio or any other small camera. There are too many trade-offs. The image quality is very poor, the lenses are slow and the cameras are almost worthless when used inside. This Casio is no exception to those unfortunate rules. However, my heart has started to warm to the concept of small point and shoot cameras. There are many places I don't take my SLR, hence I get NO shot when if I had a tiny camera I could have at least got a shot. Also, most miniature digicams such as this one can take video, and with the popularity of YouTube I wanted the ability to make YouTube videos I could post.
Pros: small size, great functions Cons: anti-shake can be improved more.
I have been using Exilim series for 5+ years and I just love it. It has more pre-set functions for camera dummy like me. I can simply adjust the function to whatever the environment like. It has indoor, party, outdoor, kids..... Great camera.
Pros: stylish
dependable
good price Cons: buttons are too small
i have had this camera for a while now and its the first time i have had a camera that didn't have problems. its very easy to use and it works perfectly. i have owned 3 other brands of cameras, and this is the first one that i will always buy from now on. the only thing i don't like is the buttons are too small for my fingers and it makes it a little difficult to press the right function. it is affordable, and like i said will last you until your in extreme need to update your camera. you can also get the insurance on it that pretty much makes sure that you will not have any problems with the camera and if so just mail it in for free and they will fix it within a week. also the outcome of the pictures are perfect. it does not matter what setting i put the pictures on it always turns out more than what you would need to print them out
Very easy to set up! GREAT picture quality. by forgeabc ,May 15 '08
Pros: Picture Turns Green Cons: Spectacular to Buy
Great picture quality, great color, easy to use controls. I looked to a long time, anfd this is the best set BY FAR for the price. The really high priced lcd's picture quality was only a tad better, and not worth a lot of extra money. Better then the very large remote-not really that big a deal, and you have to adjust the color and contrast to your own taste.
Pros: Slim design. Wonderful picture quality. Cons: Not durable.
This camera takes wonderful pictures. Nice design. Worked well for 4 months when the flash failed to work. Sent it back to Casio for repair only to tell us that it was misused. How do you misuse a flash? Anyway, this is the second Casio camera we've owned and both have not held up for durability as we would have expected.
