5 years and 2 children later, it is still going strong!!

by trthomp , Jan 07 '01
Pros: Strong, uses crib mattress, takes up about as much room as a crib
Cons: no railings to keep child from falling out
We purchased this bed for our 6 year old daughter. She never liked the crib, so we thought she might like something that resembled a grown up bed better. I brought it home and assembled it in about 20 minutes the first time. We have moved 4 times now,...

Boomerang toddler bed

by GwenK , Jan 08 '00
Pros: Uses crib mattress, good intermediate bed
Cons: Low weight limits
This is one of those pieces of children's furniture that seems relatively new but I can't imagine doing without.

We purchased this little toddler bed for my older daughter, now 7 years old, when she was about two. On the plus side, you just...

A Mediocre Bed From Cosco

by forkids Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Jan 30 '00
Pros: Safe height, easy to put together, lightweight
Cons: Side rails are not included, does not work with our standard bed rails, not adult friendly
We inherited this bed from my in-law's and were very grateful to have it. We started the transition from crib to toddler bed when my son was two years old. It is about 4.5 feet in length and comes in 3 pieces with the screws to put it all together. It...

Pint-Sized Bed for Pint-Sized People

by LoveKids , Sep 12 '00
Pros: Great size for toddlers and preschoolers.
Cons: Doesn't stand up to the inevitable jumping
When my 3rd child was about 20 months old, I purchased this bed for her. I was looking for something that was inexpensive and wouldn't take up much space in the room she was to share with 2 older siblings. The Cosco 10-T36 fit both requirements....

What a handy hand-me-down!

by mjbroo , Feb 07 '00
Pros: Mattress is low to the floor, less chance of injury with a fall. May also come with guard rails to deter falling.
Cons: Child can get up and run around without being "let loose". Make sure you get up before him/her!
When big brother finally graduated out of his toddler bed and into a twin
size bed, little sister was happy as can be! What a neat new addition this was to her room. She'd recently learned that she could climb out of
her crib fairly easily, and...

Great for The Price!

by ChriseyB Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Mar 30 '00
Pros: Made of metal, holds a standard crib mattress, just a generously nice bed all around...
Cons: Does not come with side rails...
Recently, my youngest son found a way to get out of his crib. He put one leg over the top, and he was over it. Couldn't have that happening because he could seriously injure himself while "escaping". It was time to shop for another bed since...

Just the right size for the little guys

by melake , Jan 10 '00
Pros: price is great, don't have to spend big $$ on something that isn't life time
Cons: adults can't sit on bed, the bars can bend
I received our first Cosco Toddler bed from my sister who has 2 girls that were already in a full size bed. She saved it for me. She asked me if I wanted it. I didn't think my daughter was ready for a toddler bed yet. She was only 17 months at the time....

Best little transition bed for your $$$

by totmom , Jan 16 '00
Pros: Price, low to the ground
Cons: none that I can think of
My son used this bed for 2 years after being out of his crib and it worked out wonderfully. The best thing about it is it is very affordable and it serves the purpose of a transition bed from crib to the eventual twin size bed. We paid about $20.00 for...

TERRIFIC TODDLER BED

by ISABELLE , Dec 19 '00
Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble
Cons: none
Being a mother of 5 children(#6 is on the way), I have had plenty of experience with toddler beds. I knew that there was a possibility of my 2 yr old either LOVING or HATING this toddler bed...so different than his comfy crib. I decided to not spend a...

Squeak, squeak, squeak

by nikebear , May 23 '01
Pros: Blue color, small fits anywhere
Cons: Doesn't fit mattress without force, squeaks, frame bends
How can a child get to sleep with so much squeaking, is what I would like to know. The frame on this thing squeaks anytime you move around on it. I also did not like how this bed does not fit a standard crib mattress that they sell today, without...

Toddler Says NO!! to this bed

by blue1969 , Jan 29 '00
Pros: Nice transition from crib to bed
Cons: No rails, not very strong frame
The first night we tried to get my two and a half year old son to sleep in his new bed, complete with new sheets and blanket he had picked out, he got into the bed, then said, "No, Mommy." He did not like the openness of a bed verses his crib....

Well worth the investment

by melmouse , Nov 20 '00
Pros: convenient, practical
Cons: none
I purchased this bed for my son when he was only a few months old. I had purchased a similar model bed for my daughter 4 years earlier, and had been very happy with the results. I had gotten rid of hers, and then was surprised with another...

I hate this bed

by almaddox2 , Feb 16 '00
Pros: its a step up from a crib
Cons: you have to buy guard rails separately
Cosco ia a great name brand and has alot of things we trust and love, but not this. This bed is meant to be a transition bed from a crib to a regular bed. We kept our girls in a crib until they were two. We were having a problem with them not wanting...

Pros: easy to assemble, durable, any crib mattress fits
Cons: none
Cosco 10-T36 Toddler Bed has been used with my two oldest children and will be used with my youngest daughter once she is ready to get out of the crib. I bought this bed over 8 years ago and I still have the same exact bed waiting in the closet to be put...

a GREAT transition from crib to a twin bed..

by tarabell8 , Nov 02 '00
Pros: great transition from crib to bed
Cons: none
I got this bed relatively inexpensively; and it was a wonderful transition for my daughter. She wasn't apprehensive about sleeping in her "new bed",and being able to use the mattress from the crib was great; minimal expense was involved with...
