Pros: $ 5 price from Walmart, and its light weight. Cons: Humming noise, its inability to fit into a window that is thicker than 1-3/8".
I purchased this fan at this time because Walmart had them on clearance for $5. I love the built in handle and the light weight of the fan. I may be able to tolerate the noise it makes. I am not particularly happy with the way it fits into our new replacement windows. Our windows are thicker than the area provided by the fan for the upper window to sit. If your window frame is thicker than 1-3/8", your upper window will not fit into the area provided for it. I intend to sand off, grind off or slice off approximately 1/16" of plastic to be able to correctly close the window onto the fan.
