We looked at All Clad in the stores and happened to see the KitchenAid 5 ply stainless. The more we looked the more we liked so I ordered the 9 piece set for $320 plus NY tax, but free shipping, on the internet. What a bargain! And what a set of pots & pans! They look great and cook beatifully plus clean-up is a snap. As noted by another reviewer, the curled lip makes the pots easy to pour, something the All Clads don't have. This was our first encounter with all metal handles and they work nicely, never heating up although the contents of the pot may be boiling. Our next purchase will be the complimentary 7 piece set
