Pros: sturdy, safe, easy to clean Cons: bulky, takes up a lot of space
We purchased this play yard for my son when he was starting to crawl and pull up. We bought it from amazon and paid approximately $60. I was looking for a play yard that folds easily, is sturdy, and is easy to clean. This play yard met some of those ...
Pros: Safe, roomy and the baby loves it! Cons: A little hard to get used to putting it together. There's a knack to it!
I looked for this super gate at Tag Sales, Ebay, Craigslist etc because I did not want to pay $70 for it. Had I known how great this thing was I would have paid $150 up front. I did finally find one on Craislist for $35 - a bargain! My house has all ...
Pros: Convenient. Allows babies to explore safely. Many uses Cons: Bulky.
We purchased the Superyard XT when our second child was born. My oldest child was only 17 months old at the time (yes, we are crazy)and we were worried about her hurting her baby brother. We used the Superyard to protect him when he was in his swing or ...
Pros: Sturdy, Can leave baby unattended for short times (like a bathroom trip) Cons: Is not that easy to fold
I bought this for my son when he was starting to crawl and pull up. I bought it at Target for 60 dollars plus one extension which was another 15 dollars. My son had been crawling around and always going for the wall outlets and never playing with his ...
Pros: Can be used in many configurations for many different things. Cons: Made of plastic and can crack. Not good for busy toddlers.
I bought this so I would have a place to keep my son when he was about four months old. We had several dogs in our house, so it was nice to have a safe place for him to play. It worked great as a play yard for him. There are so many different ...
Superyard Serves Purpose by alisons-mom ,Dec 29 '08
Pros: Peace of mind if we need to leave the room for a minute. Cons: A little "stiff" to open and close initially, but loosens with use.
Purchased our Superyard at Meijer for about $60. Allows our little mover (9 months) to play within the boundary that we choose for her and allows us to take mini breaks to go to the bathroom, prepare for baby's bath, load the washing machine, or fix a quick snack. We have only used this product indoors and we would definitely purchase it again. We love to play with our baby inside the Superyard and we definitely notice the difference when we don't have it set up, as we then find ourselves chasing our little one in and out of other rooms in the house. Try this - we open the Superyard and place each end of it against opposite sides of the couch, which leaves a play area of 50+ square feet for our daughter to play as we watch our favorite TV show sitting on the couch inside her play area.
Great concept but not for my child by tpstopen ,Jun 21 '08
Pros: easy set up and maneuverability Cons: openings should be smaller to avoid foot placement
As a whole, this is a great product, easily set up and taken down (for me, but not for daddy ha ha ha) and served its purpose of keeping our dear daughter away from outlets, doorways and stairs. The only problem I ran into, is my daughter (now 17 months, we bought this for her when she was 10 months). She is not one to be confined, and unfortunately the small spaces or openings in this gate are the perfect size for little feet to climb, which she not only did, but would get stuck halfway up then unable to go up or down would scream bloody murder. Now a little chuckle had to come out of me for her innovative ways of escape but then knew if I weren't there, this could be dangerous. I've only been able to set it up a few times since then, when complete attention can be on her, but recently took it to a picnic for her and some other toddlers to use. I have the extension as well, and needless to say it was a big hit, til my daughter climbed her way to the top and flipped over the top.
