This game is awsome, you can create your own player and make them look like you if youd like. there are many challanges such as playing the pros and creating your own course...its a lot of fun and hard to walk away from...i find myself still playing after the game has been finished

I had Tiger Woods 2003 but skipped 2004. I am really glad I came back to 2005. I am far from being finished with the game but have played it for an hour or so each day for about a month.
Most of what I would say has been covered by other reviewers, but I like this game much better on Xbox than PS2 and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a golf game.

My friends and I were able to create a player that looked identical to us. Now what game lets you add weathering features to your face and love handles? Yes, love handles. The great thing about it is the wide range of golf fashion options. If you wanted to make your golfer look like any celebrity you want then this feature allows you to do so; from Britney Spears, Roseanne Bar...to "Beetle Juice"(the black one) and Marilyn Manson. You can also accessorize your golfer with tattoos, jewelry and piercings.

Other features also allow you to choose from a wide range of apparel customize your stroke, develop your spin and perfect your stance to hit the golf ball on any golf course known to man. It even allows you to customize and create your own course.

You have lots of options and it complete opens up the wide world of golf to anyone.

Even if golf is not your particular sport of interest this game will be very entertaining to you.
