If I ever get my hands on that darned monkey-I am going to ring its scrawny bossy little neck. Of all the ways to waste time on line-Treeloot.com is the absolute worst-mainly because it is just a waste of time, you will get Nothing out of the time you spend there. Unless of course you want to count being bossed around by an animated monkey.
What Is Treeloot.com They claime to be a sweepstakes, reward type-site. HA! Basically, what you do is get roped into clicking on an animated tree for 15 minutes. Now allegedly somewhere on the tree there are prizes, and there is something called banana bucks that you can earn and win by clicking on the tree over and over and over again. The Monkey will tell you that you can use those banana bucks in Treeloot.com ‘s special store-I will get into that later!
Every time you click on the tree-you get sent to a page where the monkey tells you that you won a few banana bucks, or that you didn’t win anything. Then the monkey tells you to “support the sponsors” by clicking on their banner adds. Then when you click on the banner adds-You HAVE to click on those banner adds-the monkey tells you that you need to actually visit the Sponsors site i.e. click around each site-or the visit does not count. The monkey is supposed to give you hints about where to click next on the tree-all that the monkey told me to do was visit more sponsors.
You have to do this-click, get bossed around by an annoying animated monkey, click, earn banana bucks for a minimum of 15 minutes-or you get absolutely nothing! No banana bucks, no prizes-assuming that you actually clicked on a prize-no nothing.
So What Do I get for 15 minutes of my time? not a thing. I spent 15 minutes clicking all over the tree, I would get a message telling me Congrats-you have won $5 in banana bucks, or you have won $10 in banana bucks and I was told I could spend them in the Treeloot.com store when I was done. I visited the Sponsor sites; the monkey bossed me around. In the end I ended up with $97 in banana bucks-now, at one point I was told I had won $100 banana bucks, but I ended up with $97 banana bucks-how I have NO idea and I figured that $97 in banana bucks was better than nothing-NOT-but I was done playing with the stupid monkey.
Off I go to the store-where I discover that my $97 worth of banana bucks will buy me----- a whole lot of nothing. For such and such amount of banana bucks, I can “buy” a special offer to get $5 of a $10 purchase as a Sponsors site-or something like that. You know the offers-the same one’s that fill up my email folders-for free. Only at Treeloot.com I have to PAY to take advantage of offers that I have already been offered for free. If I recall correctly, the only thing you could actually “buy” was a stuffed monkey-and that cost some ungodly amount of banana bucks plus a whole lot for shipping and handling.
I wasted 15 minutes of my time and got nothing for nothing. I won’t be going back to Treeloot.com-and I don’t recommend anyone else go there either. If you want to play with animated monkey’s online-go to Trancos.com and play their Monkey Million game-it takes a fraction of the time, and your odds of winning are much higher.
Treeloot.com is an example of the fact that there are lots of sites on the web that exist to make money off of you. The only thing Treeloot.com does is direct you to their sponsors-nothing more, nothing less. They “offer” you the chance to win something for nothing-and that is what gets them and their sponsor’s hits. Personally, I won’t be buying anything from any Sponsor of Treeloot.com. Any business that would be in cahoots with that bossy ugly little monkey isn’t to be trusted. I do NOT recommend this site to anyone.
